  Single Player:
  
  Worth a look at; certainly being more entertaining than MW3/ BF3's campaigns. There's some really well made level designs, visuals and music to be found. The story (despite being written by a 'famous' sci fi author), is pretty lame, being predictable pretty much straight away. Gameplay wise, it's a little lacking, but still fun enough to make you want to keep playing. It plays a little 'retro' style, with boss battles at the end of each area, which is kinda fun, since they all require some form of strategy- however basic. The main disapointment really comes from the length of the game, ince it pretty much averages at 6hrs. There's some replayability to be found, since you can level up and unlock more stuff on the protaganist, but really, the game seemed more geared to its co-op...

  This... hurts. Not the gameplay though! That's perfect- quite possibly one of the best co-op games ever made! The game makes you work as a team, constantly thikn and move, and has a lot more variety in weapons/ unlockable perks than the single player did. 'Breaching' (the act of hacking into someone/something) plays a lot better here too, and is vital to keep you and your team alive. I really enjoy the levels (despite some being completly rips from the main game), leveling up my character, and even creating my own syndicate (clan). So the issue? It's unplayable. Whether it's a problem with the ea servers, or the game itself, we dont know (despite contacting ea- they offered no help); the issue is that the game freezes whenever you unlock a chip/trophy/level up/research a weapon/autosave/ or accomplish anything. Basically, it feels like you get punished for playing well. All the above happens a LOT. Probably around every 3-8 minutes. It's so frustrating, because I really like the game- it has a lot of potential, and it needs to be seen by people as a good example of a co-op mode!

  If you're looking for a new game to try out- Syndicate should sit somewhere in the middle of your list. The main story is pretty much solid, and at least tries to offer something a little different to other games. Co-Op wise- as much as it pains me to say- give a skip for now. Try again in a few months when they finally patch the game- and add two stars to this review.
