You will have to save the world from Dark Mirror before it's too late. Red Section has attacked KemSynth Petroleum in Alaska and stolen a weapons research project codenamed Dark Mirror. You must track Dark Mirror down and return it to safe hands - a mission that will lead you on an action-packed, death-defying chase across the world. There are no rules of engagement and no chain of command; your brief is to infiltrate - and to execute decisively.

Syphon Filter is born again

I was a big fan of the Syphon Filter series on the PS1 and was eagerly anticipating the release of the games on the PS2, but was highly disappointed with The Omega Strain. However, Dark Mirror has redeemed my faith in the Syphon Filter series, as it has vastly improved on the gameplay.

The game once again follows Gabe Logan and Lian Xing, with the different parts of their storyline involvement as different tasks for completion of the mission, although i was a little disappointed that you don't get as much weaponry with Lian as you do with Gabe. But still, a great game if you're a fan of Syphon Filter, especially as they kept the tazer gun in......which can be fun for as many hours as you want to zap the poor sod that you've fired it at. The only downside is that the game is shorter than expected.
