These may not be the most amazing collection of Taito retro arcade games, but two things do stick out amongst them. These are LIQUID KIDS a fun platformer, and G DARIUS an amazing 3D-ish shoot-em-up. G Darius being the better, it really gets your heart pumping in excitement. However, as is the downfall of all retro arcade games, you can complete the games very easily simply by selecting more credit when you need it. Whereas if you were in an arcade you'd get more into the skill of playing as you'd be aware of how fast your cash was dissappearing!
So, if you've got a good arcade emulator on your PC, or the PS1 version of G Darius there is little point in getting this. If you haven't, this is a good intro into retro arcade gaming.- Was this review helpful to you?
