Great Game

been playing this game since release and its great,the the island of hawaii is massive once again like test drive 1 just more details and the roads are smoother making for better handling.theres also an added island of ibiza which is big and has lots to do on it.the online has been a disapointment though,u cannot connect to online races and u cannot make any clubs as yet,atari are having problems with the servers but they shud b fixed soon,once the online is up and running smoothly the game will really open up,overall a great game and an improvement on number 1.definatly recomended- Was this review helpful to you?

By PleasantKenobi (1 review) , 17 Sep 2012The game is a massive disappointment after the first Unlimited title. Graphically, the game looks terrible. It handles awkwardly, and the mechanics are far from intuitive at first play (banking the 'style' points for example).
The problems mount up fast, and when 'storyline' progression comes as slowly as this and with such a pointless narrative tacked on I couldn't force myself to slog through it.
If you want open world arcade driving, you are better off playing Midnight Club, avoid this mess of a game.- Was this review helpful to you?

Such a shame
By skipit (1 review) from Plymouth , 09 Jun 2012This game could have been perfect. Don't get me wrong it has the potential if the devs ever fix the issues. I have completed the game now, I am just getting the online achievements, which are proving to be almost impossible.
The game is full of bugs and the servers hardly ever work, it is such as let down because it could be such a good game.
But for now I would recommend giving this one a miss and sticking to TDU1.
If you don't mind not playing online then I would totally recommend, it works well offline and has a great range of events to keep you going for a while.
The final annoying part is the fact that there has been too many chances and opportunities for cheaters, making it another pointless game where genuine players hardly ever win as everyone has been allowed to cheat with money and cars etc- Was this review helpful to you?

This game is amazing.
By DeadislandGearsofwarFan122 (10 reviews) from Cambridge , 13 Feb 2012I'm going to start off by saying that this is one of my Favourite driving games of all time, I mean a driving MMO just sounds silly at first, but when you see it, you will understand.
The one thing that put me off this game is the in-game voice chat, because there is two full islands of players this causes problems, say there is a shop you need to go to (This is taken from personal experience) and there is a person playing excruciatingly loud noise down his/her microphone.
Just get this game if you are into driving games, I highly reccomend it apart from the fact that there is a sound-whoring 5 year old in every corner the game.- Was this review helpful to you?

Looks like they just made the game but never actually tested it.
