PRESENTATION: Dull menu systems although the option to create your own mobster does add something. near empty streets and lack of NPC models gives the impression this was rushed for release.

GRAPHICS: while some characters look sharp and detailed with decent animation the lack of lighting effects and bland low textured scenery make this look like very last-gen.

SOUND: Good Voice acting with some original cast members, A good if not repetitive score helps set the scene, sound effects are hit and miss.

GAMEPLAY: Some interesting fight mechanics but poor auto-aim, dumb AI and Shakey car controls make for a half baked GTA clone.

LASTING APPEAL: The Story will last some around 6-10 hours but unless you're an achievement junkie you won't come back for more.

Painfully dated videogame

Painfully dated. No auto save or save option in the pause menu. Better off just watching the movie or renting the sequel (a far superior game).

this game is not a poor man GTA if you want a poor mans gta then go play saints row this is the godfather this game is incredible you start off as a young boy who see his father brutal murder after you see it happens the don grabs you and tells you he will help you get revenge when you are oldernuff the game play is amazing you have to exstornet shops to gain more power over the over familys you have up 30 misson you play as the young blood in the calllon family and you have to clim the ranks you do this by take over drug warhouse and smuggling warhouse when you do this you will earn respect you will earn new levels witch will earn lets rap this up over all if you have seen the movie and you will love this this game

AWFUL.

Gameplay is bad, the visuals suck and melee combat is a JOKE. Drop this and go and play Mafia II.

another game i really enjoyed playing,its a little like grand theft auto, it has some of the story taken from the movie, well worth a rent if you have not played it!
