Fun for the over 8's and Platinum trophy hunters
By a customer , 09 Nov 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
If you are a fan of the Nickelodeon series on which this is based, then you'll find this an enjoyable rent.
The gameplay is straightforward with each penguin able to do specific tasks - and each task is colour-coded on screen to help you select the relevant penguin.
It's a one-player game, and is perhaps a little too complex for the under 8's, although there are a selection of unlockable mini-games which younger kids would enjoy (e.g. bowling with Mort, and King Juliens dancing).
For the Platinum Trophy hunters it represents around 8 hours of challenge, with the task of finding three hidden chameleons on each level being the toughest.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Short game and easy platinum
By Netlagged (2 reviews) , 04 Dec 2011A short game - good to relax with and earn an easy platinum. I completed the platinum in 5 nights casual play and it was actually good fun.- Was this review helpful to you?

Expected Better! : (
By BodoBlaze (47 reviews) from Hornchurch , 29 Oct 2011Overall, it's a pretty bad game. I found Kung Fu Panda 2 more enjoyable than this one. My girlfriend didn't like it either, she liked the story more than the game, and I would think that's their target area. Kinect also had some issues with detecting her and detecting me as well, not sure if this was a rushed product or what but it's pretty basic. Probably could of been made as an arcade game to be honest. I wouldn't pay full price for this one either : (
The Good:
-Music and voices are from the movies/cartoons
-There's some extras for the kiddos to do
-Graphics are decent
The Bad:
-It's all on rails which is fine, but it is super repetitive
-It seems like it was geared for really little ones
-Kinect works for the most part, there's some issues though
