Pretty good, bit rough round the edges

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this as soon as it came out. And I wasn't disappointed.
So far,(4/5 hours of gameplay) the story is fairly strong, about the French resistance in Nazi occupied France. The missions are reasonably varied, although repetitive on occasions. The weapons etc are all fabulous, with perks on top of that, it makes the fighting and movement nice and varied and mostly smooth. Although the driving is a little iffy at first, it is basic and you will get used to it.
Theres lots to do, side missions, climbing the effel tower, blowing some random stuff up, unlocking new perks and guns etc etc :)
Its a great new concept, one that i haven't seen before, with a classic black and white theme to start with. You can drive any car you like, kill any Nazi you like, even get punished if you kill civiilans.
Although the history is...flawed(zepelins etc), it's got the general theme with the guns, buildings etc.
However, it goes come with some flaws. The graphics are a little week, literally rough around the edges. You are pretty much a one man army, with the occasional computer ambush to help you out. You may find yourself getting a little annoyed at certian missions, but with a vareity of different ways to tackle each missions, there is also a work around.
Overall, this is pretty much a cross between Assassins creed and GTA4...with WW2 theme. It pulls it off reasonably well, but it could have benefitted with a few more extras and a bit more originality in terms of gameplay.
Definitely worth the rent at the very least.- Was this review helpful to you?

I did not feel this way about this game. It doesn't take itself too seriously. It's great fun playing cat and mouse with the NAZI's. You can customise your character and play style by the weapons that you wield. Other people have said that the stealth aspect of the game is a litte weak, however I really enjoyed it. The only weak point is the ending however from what I have read, it was rushed to get it out for Xmas. I for one cant wait for number 2.- Was this review helpful to you?

Understanding concerns

It has everything, the climbing and hiding ability's of Assassins Creed, the freedom of Saints row and GTA and the uniform changes/stealth of Hitman Blood Money. Alone these things cant beat the likes of GTA, AC or Hitman but all together they make a really entertaining game. You can blast missions guns blazing head-on or look around for the stealthier options which I prefer. With patients of a Saint and careful planning I completed both side and main missions virtually undetected which makes for a better game
People will compare this with GTA but I think its on par. Its a great little jem of a game. The only thing I didn't like was my character kept getting stuck on walls nd the enemy AI wasn;t great. All in all, 8 1/2 out of 10.- Was this review helpful to you?

kill the nazis

Easily one of the best sandbox games, Not as good as gta but up there with saints row. massive area to explore with things there to see, unlike red dead which i found really boring. hoping theres gonna be a no 2- Was this review helpful to you?
