what a load of rubbish
By a customer from Nottingham, uk , 24 Sep 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This did my head in. It was so hard to do we gave up. First you have to make a family then decide if you want to make a house even my children hated it. You don't even have a choice of person you can change things i.e. the size of body, clothes, but thats all. Don't waste your time or your rental on this. PURE RUBBISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Not all that bad
By KatiMark (33 reviews) from Warwickshire, England , 13 Nov 2008I think the main thing to notice about this game is the graphics. It has probably the best graphics for any game on the Wii but admittedly if you have ever played the sims on the PC (which is unavoidable lets face it) then you will really find this game frustrating.
Notably, a nice feature is being able to control your sims in a third person style - being able to navigate them without the need to point and 'click' you can direct them towards items which will highlight, and give you the option to choose which action you wish to do. Obviously this feature means you can not control or direct any of your other sims, but if they are at work for the day and you are just controlling 1 sim then it's really useful.
This certainly isn't a game you would load every day and look forward to your next career move.. that is PC territory. Wii needs to accept its limitations and remain an arcade multiplayer console, games like the Sims really don't get along well with such a control system. My hands ached after about 20minutes of play...
Overall... sadly, avoid. I gave it 2 stars for the graphics, as it was a surprise for the Wii but it just fell over every other hurdle.- Was this review helpful to you?
