    [Highly rated reviewer]

I bought this recently because I thought it was a first person shooter. Thankfully you can make it one, with the handy feature that you can switch between first and third person view (first person makes it easier to shoot enemies, third person makes it slightly easier to see around you when trying to solve puzzles and the like, though you get a crosshair in either view.)

This game scared the crap out of me for the first few levels, but then I got used to it and sucked up the atmosphere, which there's oodles of. It's not an epic game, but I can't praise it enough! The voice acting is fantastic, the story is reasonably interesting, the designs of the enemies are diabolically twisted, and the character development is superb. If you have reasonable nerves and aren't prone to anxiety or panic attacks or something I really strongly recommend this game, and its sequal, Ties That Bind. Even if you complete it in one day, it's a great, great game!

this game is my all time fav action horror game its really creepy and i would go as far has to say that i prefer this over resi and silent hills imagine walking in a dimly lit corridor of a prison dead bodies around and screams in the distant then all of a sudden you see a dead body being dragged by something that you cannot see then all of sudden you hear a phone ring you walk into the room and pick up the handset and you hear something but cant make out what or who it is you hear the prison guards radio and there is panic some thing seems to have taken over the prison. Yes that is a small part of the game but i absolutely love this game i also tried the sequel but it was not the same overall if you have not had the plesure of playing this very underrated title and love being spooked by games then this is for you

My husband played this game and completed it in about an hour. He believed it to be rubbish and very easy although, note to others, my husband can play (with ease) any computer game given to him!!!
