So much awesome!!!
By a customer , 10 Sep 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
This game is a must rent if you have played the previous game in the series, War for Cybertron but if you have not played War for Cybertron then I recommend playing that first but you will probably still understand the story if you haven't.
The transformers designs are changed a little bit but you probably wont even notice. All of the guns have undergone a major remodel but don't worry they look better than before.
The gameplay is great it isn't repetitive at all every mission is different and every transformer has a unique ability that keeps the gameplay fresh and exiting,- Was this review helpful to you?

Gears of Cybertron?
By matdevine21 (5 reviews) from Walsall , 31 Jan 2013I really wanted to love this game! The first Transformers while having many faults it had enough going for it to merit a sequel. After playing the demo a few months ago, I thought that this game would actually be an improvement over the last one but how wrong was I! The games is supposed to take place on the Transformers home world of Cybertron but after a few hours playing the game it felt like any other 'insert name here' third person shooter / Gears of War wannabe. The battles are boring and repetative, fighting the same battle over and over and over against the same bad guys. The driving/flying stages felt like a 'tacked on' obligation that the developers had to do rather than something that was made to give you an experience. I admit that this game is a far improvement over the Transformers movie games it still falls short. There are some plus points to be had: The voice acting is spot on and delviered with more purpose than the developers of the game could be bothered to do. The character designs are well done if not overerly clunky and awkward looking. (Grimlock is still the best!) Multi Player has its moments but like the game it is let down by repeating the same things with little reward for carrying on playing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great if you are a 5 year old.
By emperor10 (200 reviews) from newcastle upon tyne , 11 Dec 2012I never learn. Film/game ties ins are notoriously bad, but have improved over the years. This, however, is pure rubbish. The graphics are so-so,the gameplay isnt anything to write home about,avoid.- Was this review helpful to you?
