Becareful BuggyBy Razorsedge1988 (11 reviews) from Gloucester , 31 May 2010
[Highly rated reviewer]UFC games have really gone on the up and up these last few years. The graphics of this game are superb in places the likeness of many of the fighters are just amazing. But also with some of the less famous fighters designs feel lazy in comparessing. This game is genually a good beat em up but has a hell of alot of bugs and problems. The gameplay is almost identical to last years UFC game but there is a major problem. The submissons and grapples. As submissions where very hard to do last year with really just a poor control scheme THQ decided that it was to good and easy and make it a million times worse. If you have beaten any fighter on this game by submisson on any setting then i take my hat off to you because no matter how many times i run through the tutiorial the submissons never come off. Also a major major problem is submissons are very very easy for the computer to do on any difficulty setting. For example i was Shane Carwin against Kimbo Slice ( neither submisson fighters) i was on edge of beating him and all of a sudden although he had only hit me once in the fight i was submitted out of nowhere. The controls for submissons on this game just dont work you have to be lighting fast and i mean lightning fast to beat anyone or even break out of a submisson attempt. But i suppose if it wasnet for the submisson scheme this game wud be easy but with it its just stupid. This game adds more modes then last years inculding a title fight mode where u go for the title and a title defence mode. Both are good but seem pointless and sloppy. Career mode has more of a storyline to it but i cant understand why you cant be a UFC fighter in a career it just seem to be dull with a created fighter. One new feature i do like however is the event mode where you create your own UFC ppv. One nice little feature is the intro to your ufc ppv but again no Stemm or Fighters best bits like you get at the start of UFC PPVs. This kinda did annoy me because in my opion its one of the best things about UFC the over the top music, Overall this game is fun to play at times and quite realistic Anderson Silva is boring to watch fight in real life and is also boring in this game. But its the submission bug that really make this game boring at times. If THQ dont sort it out by next years game then next years will be the last UFC game i play on. Graphics 8/10 Sound 6/10 No Stemm Gameplay 5/10 Would be 9 if it wasnt for the submissons.

Ultimate Fanny CraddockBy RoscoBeats (8 reviews) from Bridge of Allan , 14 Mar 2012This game is utter *ollo*ks.
Likes - UFC francise.
Dislikes - loading screens (im forever loading some crap cutscene), controls, animation, the career mode is so very tiresome.
I can't say anything good about the game, apart from there is a postbox around the corner from where I live - so it didn't take long to post back!
Great Graphics poor game playBy a customer , 30 Oct 2011Looks such a great game but so hard to play and the moves and progress is so slow within the game.
PS3 extra's win itBy nuthouse1985 (1 review) , 06 Jul 2011Ok game, the control system is a little fiddly but the action is true to live. If you have the option get the PS3 version as it includes some of the best fights in UFC history

worth a lookBy Walkinhome (1 review) , 07 Jun 2011Although the graphics are very impressive and the career mode is quite in depth, the game play is still very slow, a bit like wrestlemania for the ps2, Fight night round 4 would be much safer bet, but this game is deffinetly worth trying out as it passes a few hours, dont do what i did and think it will do for a few day, it deffinetly needs some time putting into it for a career
