UFC 3 - worthy successor??
By a customer , 12 Mar 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
In my opinion most definitely, its kept to its game play but added those much needed tweaks to make this one heck of a worthy successor.
from previous games the biggest and in my opinion the most game changing part is the submissions mechanic, gone are the days of get opponent in submission and then button bash and hope for the best. now its based of a lil bit of skill and a keen eye. for lack of better way to explain it when trying top complete / escape a submission - a very short game of analogue stick cat and mouse occurs,
the only gripe i have with this game is the load times....if you want a pick up and play quick match with ya mate...it wont happen with this game it takes a good 10 mins to get from putting the disk in to starting the actual fight,...making a brew during a load screen not too bad if it wasn't before and after EVERY SINGLE MATCH!- Was this review helpful to you?

(13)Half of it is loading time!
By a customer , 17 May 2013Gameplay is ok - not great. Would have given it a higher rating had the loading not taken up so much time!- Was this review helpful to you?

UFC 3 was okay
By iyahman (3 reviews) , 04 May 2013I prefer the ea sports mma game to this, spend most of the time on loading screens and when a fight come it finished straight away it was too easy- Was this review helpful to you?

Ambitious but disappointing
By a customer , 01 Apr 2013MMA is simply to complicated for a PS3 controller, the game boils downs to rolling the analogue stick to advance position three or four times, then pressing it in for a submission. If you want a fighting game get fight night, as with only hands and movement to control its a more fluid and skill based experience.- Was this review helpful to you?
