NO ONLINE MODE INCLUDED IN THIS RENTAL!!!!By JammyDodger346 (1 review) , 04 Nov 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]This is uncharted, ergo, it is a great story driven game with spectacular breathtaking set pieces. I mean seriously, this s*** put Hollywood to shame.
I'm not going to go into a full review of the game because most of you who are on this page already know its awesome, and if you dont, just head over to a review site or watch some gameplay footage on youtube. What I will say here though, is beware! THIS DISC DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ONLINE PASS!!! This means then, that if you want to play the multiplayer modes, which I hear are very good, you will have to buy them for £7.99 over the PSN store...... yes thats right, 7.99 for an online mode..... *sigh*
Unfortunately this makes the game very, very short. SO if you dont have an unlimited rental package and are hoping this game will last you for at least a week.... better look elsewhere.

Is this game over rated?By TAYL0R (1 review) , 02 Apr 2013Great graphics and story line. But the game play for me wasn't good enough. I played 1 and 2 and game play is the same as them, just a different story line. Overall its worth playing but don't expect much if your a uncharted fan, and yes this game is over rated.
Great game, improved nearly everything from the 2nd agmeBy Dean-255 (3 reviews) , 24 Feb 2013I admit im quite the fan when it comes to the Uncharted series and Uncharted 2 is the best game i've played on the PS3, i never though Uncharted 3 would be able to top it, well it did, in almost all areas. Gameplay: The gameplay is classic Uncharted, climbing platform areas, action adventure areas and 3rd person cover shooting. Everything you expect and everything i love. As far as changes go they've changed the gun mechanics however they re-added the old mechanics in an update, i found that out on my second playthough so the gunplay was much more fun the second time around. The puzzles are done really well again like past games working them out isnt hard however you still feel that spark for working them out. They are fairly memorable after that though. Story: This is how the game lost that almost 5 start rating, the story is pretty flat and to be honest it felt nothing great but had areas of greatness. The game however does take you on an amazing journey across different settings and environments helping immerse you in the story even if you have lost int rest in it the gameplay keeps you playing strong. Graphics: This is what really sets the mood of the game, you have to remember graphics just doesnt mean textures, its the engine, and the engine used in Uncharted 3 is amazing like the past games. Water physics are taken to a new level, rock debris and wood splinters fly around the screen and wood breaks when impacted, great stuff. The levels also have an insane amount of detail put into them, when i walk though the levels i felt the develops spent a lifetime making that area look real. Overall the graphics and amazing engine just help immerse you in an already gripping game. The game does seriously need to loose this quick time event battles easily for the end boss in favor for something far better, as the end scene was great however the ending gameplay couldn't be anymore generic. Something they need to correct. Summery: Amazing game, amazing graphics, accommodating storyline, deep and detailed world, great gameplay even if it has a lot of quick time events its still non the less outstanding example of a video game.
I didn't like it...at allBy a customer , 20 Feb 2013Couldn't get into this game at all. Graphics are fantastic but very linear gameplay and the cover/shooting system is horrendous.
If Its Your First Time Uncharted, Dive inBy RodneyMarsh (5 reviews) , 09 Feb 2013Graphics are great, but they seem to be running out of ideas and seem to concentrate more on the set scenes now without expanding the gameplay. Good title, but i think the developers are getting lazy with this title now, let's see what they can do with The Last Of Us eh!!!
