Vitutal Boredom 5

I have to be honest i have not seen such a pointless, unclear game since sonic the hedgehog on the PS3. There are no real targets and good ways to play. Its a good game if you just like the kick boxing. But if your looking for a game with a start, middle and finish then this is not it. Rent something else- Was this review helpful to you?

(19)If you like shallow fighting games like Tekken...
By a customer , 30 Sep 2012...then you'll hate this.
The Virtua Fighter series is renowned for being the deepest fighting game series in history. It set the standard when the first Virtua Fighter came out back in 1993 and without it, there wouldn't be any Tekken, Soul Calibur or any other 3D fighting game for that matter.
Virtua Fighter 5 is the best installment yet and is the deepest and best fighting game I have ever played. Period.
I see this has copped quite a bit of negative flak from the more casual gamers who like their fighting games to be shallow to the point where they can button bash their way to victory instead of sticking with a character and learning how to use them to devastating effect over time. These people are idiots and don't know what a real fighting game is. One guy only rented this for 10 minutes and sent it back! Way to prove my point so eloquently.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Tekken and Soul Calibur, but they are nothing compared to Virtua Fighter, the daddy of all 3D fighting games. So if you are a shallow button bashing moron then don't bother with this game, you are not worthy. Maybe try Dead or Alive 5 first to get you out of your nasty button bashing habbits, it's not quite as hardcore as Virtua Fighter, but along the same lines.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not up to Tekken standard
By sweatyfatlass (11 reviews) from Haverhill , 25 Feb 2009Worth a rent for a while but becomes dull very quickly. Better off waiting for the new Street Fighter to come to the PS3. Game intro looks nice, but in game graphics are dated.- Was this review helpful to you?
