This game is amazingly good. After being a hardened BF2 and BF2142 fan, i was thinking this was going to be a scaled down version. But, alas it isnt, setting it up is real easy, if you cant work it out then there are loads of forums to help. The flying part of the game is brilliant and satisfying, especially once you kill someone for the first time and hearing it in 5.1 (if you have it, if you do turn the bass to full, its awesome) The vehicle bit isnt as impressive as other games like this ie BF2, but then again the flying is way better unlike in BF2 where its a bit iffy. Even if you have the slowest internet connection you will be able to play.
A definite buy, dont rent it as you will never give back the disc:-p- Was this review helpful to you?

This game is 6 years old and the servers are still pulling a good crowd...Quick tip for noobs, find an empty, or almost empty server and get some practice in :), this game is seriously addictive so don't forget to eat and breath and get some Playstation nappys :)- Was this review helpful to you?

The best multiplayer (on and off line) on the ps3

The only game I have found on the PS3 that compares to Halo for mutliplayer offline. So if you enjoy laying waste to your friends on or off line then this is the game for you. The image is a little deceptive... you can fly planes, but the majority of the game is at ground level with a vast array of weapons, armoured vehicles and anti aircraft guns. ONLINE play only & death fest
By jimbouk1977 (1 review) , 09 Aug 2011OK game but after having the first disk broken i got a replacement so started playing only to find no servers only for newbs like myself, so started of playing with the big boys & thought id go for a fly only to be killed every 2 seconds with what seemed like one hit yet when i hit them 3 time & they still fly away i was a little peeved to say the least it is an ok game but it definitely isnt BattleField as the top review states.
So beware of this game as is ONLINE only and you will die more than you play but still an OK game.- Was this review helpful to you?

WARHAWK , TOP GAME
By leemco (1 review) from alness , 06 Feb 2011warhawk is a fast paced game , for the new player you have rookie maps , i would advise the warhawk noobs to start with rookie maps , you will need to rank up 2 times to get the rookie maps , only 150 points , you will get killed a lot in the top rank maps but it is worth it to unlock the rookie maps , i have played this game for over 2 years now and love it , i have read review's of members only playing the game for one day and whining about getting killed , if your a noob you will be killed , i would advise any one to play the game for the whole month before writing a review about the game , Warhawk is the best shooter out their its up in the air and on the ground very fast paced , you can buy add-on packs which are worth getting , you get a APC , jetpacks and gunship for your add-on packs with extra maps and yes it is online only game , you will need a 4mb connection and above any lower and you will get lag which will make the game no fun at all , i give Warhawk 10 out of 10- Was this review helpful to you?
