Warriors Orochi 3

I love the dynasty warrior series and the warriors orochi but to find this wasn't in english was dissapointing because not all of it was subtitled ether so i had no idea what was being said, i wasn't bothered by the poor acting in the other series it's something i came to accept and it was actualy fun. I put the disc in and back into the sleave within minuets. Very dissapointed with it.

Not in english but still a really fun game to play if you just love to take out hordes of enemies and enjoy the mad remixed music. I do anyway lol :). Plus its got Ryu Hayabusa in which i thought was classic lol. So yeah a fun game like. but really its a bit disappointing without the english. but oh well :).

As much as I liked the Soundtrack (Very nice fusion of Samurai and Dynasty musical styles- check out 'Eastern Wind' and 'Welcome Back' as well as the Character Select music.), the upgraded town system, weapon upgrades and such, as well as the massive 132 character roster- the game is let down by seemingly using the DW6 battle engine- in that excessive and unforgiveable pop-up happens on every stage, wether you're fighting scrubs or officers. The problem is only compounded in 2 Player Split-screen to the point where it's unplayable in that mode.

The biggest problem I see is that there's No English voiceover.....meaning that you have to spend the majority of the game staring at the dialogue box trying to decifer what to do next.....what Koei were thinking when they did this, I do not know- but in a fast and furious Action Hack and Slash, do you really want to be reading or do you want to be playing the game? That's the choice here. This isn't an RPG where written dialogue is perfectly acceptable due to the slower pace, this is a game where speed and action are key. Unforgiveable. And now I've just found out that Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires is getting the same treatment. It'll be yet another game I won't be buying.

Also, check out the DLC prices if you want an example of grabass, shady, disreputable practises. £3 for Wallpapers you can only use in-game. It's honestly worse than when Mobile phone companies tried to sell you wallpapers and ringtones for your phone at those prices. INSANE.

Overall, a massive disappointment after the pure excellence that was DW7.

A great addition to the warriorsseries adding a new storyline, characters, levels and features. Good graphics and soundtrack, gameplay is basically the same as the other warriors games. Only thing i didnt like about the game was one of the trophies which requires alot of grinding but other than that a easy plat for trophy hunters, a must play for warriors fans and well worth the rent for people who havnt played them before.

i thought it was really good i liked how they kept it just like the second one and i love the story line it is a different story line than the other's i would definatly play this again i think the only thing i disliked about the game is the graphics
