    [Highly rated reviewer]

I found it difficult to really get into this game. Mainly because of the fictional rewards (it's not the olympics) and because the characters / teams that you can choose are all dumb looking punks.

The gameplay itself is ok. Events are 4 man bob, downhill, ice skating, short circuit speed skating, sking with jumps / tricks, snowboarding with jumps / tricks, ski jump, biathalon and snowmobile racing.

Unfortunately the control system for all of the above games is basic and unresponsive and that means that the events are either too easy or stupidly hard.

Theres an upgrade feature where you can improve your characters stats and gear but again its basic and theres no feeling that the improvements have made a big difference to the way the game plays.

    Just an ok game

  • Terrible, terrible game

This game doesn't feel like it was made by professionals. Doesn't remember your name from one session to the next, meaning the high score table is full of entries marked 'p1'. The events are lacklustre, and control elements don't carry through. Event results seem based heavily on luck, when you lose you get no clear idea of what you did wrong or how you can improve.

Played this with my brother, and his comment sums it up best; 'Was this released on the SNES, or something?'
