  • Good Fun to blast through over a few evenings

This game is not terrible for a move tie in. Any regular gamer will know as soon as a big release film comes out there is an obligatory game that comes out around its release, and they are 99% of the time utter pants. This however is quite fun. Bear in mind im writing this review from the point of view of someone who only rented it, not payed full retail price! If i HAD payed £35 to £40 for it I would probably feel very different!

I completed this over 2 evenings. Admittedly one of them was a fair sized session. Its guite gory. Not quite the SUPER gore lots of people make out, but you get limbs and heads chopped off, people stabbed nastily etc. nothing never seen before in a game, but definatly 18 cert worthy. Its a hack and slash-em-up so lots of running around stabbing anyhting that moves. Story isnt told amazingly well. Nice damage model for wolverine, bullet holes appear in him and slowly heal up over time as your health goes up. Theve tried to implement a level system with xp from each kill going towards your next level but to be honest it barly even registered as a game dymanic on my playthrough. Graphics are up to par. Nothing great, but definatly not one of those titles you look at and think 'hmmm, ps2?!'

All in all id say the perfect rental game. Play it and finish it over a few nights and send it back soon so your next game gets sent asap!

Probably one of the best movie to game genre i have ever played, but as any game it has its flaws. The game is very reppetitive where you'll find yourself constantly fighting soldiers in every step but other than that the game is very fun and will please the fans of the movie

Probably the best Movie game I have played in a while. If your looking for a sophisticated plot and elegant game play, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for a violent, action packed thrill ride of satisfaction throwing people into spikes, launching your self like a dart claws first in to their chests and dismembering people then this is certainly for you. Great for playing over a weekend, or just to unwind after a day in the office.
