Fun for Yakuza enthusiasts

I really enjoyed this, having completed all the other Yakuza games. It's more or less the same length as the others except it's gun-based rather than hand-to-hand combat based. The controls are a little bit rubbish but you can get used to them. If you liked the Yakuza series before this you'll enjoy this one...if you never Liked Yakuza before, don't bother.- Was this review helpful to you?

A series, you either love it or hate it. personally for me it was a bit to slow, the map was confusing, it directs you where to go, you get there and find you cant go where you are supposed to go, the weapons control is difficult to master and the cut screen length compared to what action you get is to long, to compare this to Max Payne is crazy, max is far better, this is subtitled throughout and being Japanese flavored has decent enough grafix to suit. difficult to relate to main characters and again controls are a nightmare.- Was this review helpful to you?

ZZZZZZ BORING
By crompy70 (5 reviews) , 26 Oct 2012absolutely hate the game...played it got to level 13 to see if it got any better and it never..the gun controls are messy and the map just done my head in with the way it was laid out. and didnt like the jap voiceover with english subs gets boring reading all the time...also the beggining load screens were annoying took about 20 mins b4 i could start to play properly...got it today going back tommorow never again...id say stay well clear..thats just my opinion..id rather watch paint dry- Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome game

Definitely for fans of the Yakuza series. Yakuza 4 with Zombies describes this game perfectly. Loved it.

Yakuza with zombies
By frewip (1 review) from Leigh-on-Sea , 20 Apr 2012I have played all the Yakuza games since the PS2, and I found this once a nice change from the normal formula of Yakuza. The gun controls are not the best, but once you get the hang of them it is really easy to use. Those looking for a resident evil type game will be disappointed. The story is good, as are the bosses, and now I am working through Game+.- Was this review helpful to you?

what a load of rubbish
