Wow this is fun!
By a customer from Calne , 08 Jan 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
ok the demo came out today so this review is on the demo
The controls are bassicly the same as the last one
You can get off your board and move stuff into postion which is awesome
The graphics are better
it more realistic like you can jump and do a trick on the ground but you dont always land it!
I would recommend this game esp if u like the first one
Download the demo of xbl!- Was this review helpful to you?

Dont play if you love Tony Hawks
By EnglishDragon (5 reviews) from Scunthorpe , 21 May 2010I love the Tony Hawks games, I've played every one since the first one in 97 and I love them. I love them because you can do daft stuff that you would never dream of doing.
While Skate2 tries to bring some realism into skateboarding games I personally think it goes too far.- Was this review helpful to you?

Could it be, that skate 1 is BETTER!!
By a customer from Bristol, England , 21 May 2010The opening part of Skate 2 is the obvious, editing your skater which gives a indapendent and better feel to the game making it feel like your skating as yourself and just generally makes it feel better
Into the game you will come across different skate team activities which allows you to show off your skate gaming skills and join a skate team.
The skate teams you can join ranges from Vision to top skate team PLAN B.
Including these well known teams in the game makes you feel like your skating along with Plan B and becoming succseful as part of there team.
Other events such as Death Races, Own the Spot and Competitions, give the game that extra push it needs to keep the gamer satisfied as there are a range of activities to choose from. This i think is great because the more missions there are the longer it keeps you occupied.
Death Races!
death races are a new and fun, entertaining part of the game because it involves going at high speeds colliding at high speeds (The bail after this is hilarious)and battling for that top spot of the race leaderboard that excites and leaves you sitting on the edge of you seat. I think to include this gives enjoyment to groups of friends who want to have a lagh with eachother as it is available on single player AND multi-player.
Overall this is an enjoyable game giving you the ultimate Skate Gaming expierince BUT due to some annyoing bugs within the game, it is not worth, 5 stars. I hope this review helps and im sorry if it doesnt. thankyou.- Was this review helpful to you?

Fantastic
By Carlito117 (9 reviews) from Cramlington , 11 Jul 2009I've been playing Skating games for years, and this is one of the best.
Pros:
The in-game world is huge, with so many challenges and competitions and try your hand at. The graphics are spot-on, the best I've seen in a skating game. Two sets of downloadable content available via Xbox live, opening up two more skateable areas to enjoy. A very intuative and accurate control system. A well varied online multiplayer experience, with a good mix of challenging competition and laid back free-roaming.
Cons:
If you've only ever played the Tony Hawk skating games, you will probably struggle with the control system. The Xbox live experience can sometimes be cheapened by skaters glitching and cheating to win online events.- Was this review helpful to you?
