What is the 'like' button and what happens when you click it?

What is it?

The 'like' button you see across the site allows you to quickly and easily share the things that you like with your Facebook friends.

What happens when you click it?

When you indicate that you like something using the Facebook 'like' button these things happen:

1. You'll be asked to log in to Facebook if you're not already
2. You'll be able to add a comment if you want

What happens on Facebook?

1. What you like will be published to your Facebook wall
2. You'll become a fan of what you liked on Facebook so we'll be able to let you know if there's anything else relevant that might interest you
3. A link will be added to you Facebook profile under "Likes and Interests"

What happens on LOVEFiLM?

1. Your friends will be able to see if you've liked something
2. Your 'like' status may appear in the activity feed on LOVEFiLM for customers who are logged out of Facebook

Can I un-like something?

Yes. If you've liked something, but changed your mind and want to un-like it, just click the same like button again. This will remove it from your Facebook profile. Please note this is not the same as disliking something.

Where else will my 'likes' appear?

What you've liked will be shown to your Facebook friends on the LOVEFiLM homepage and on your rental list in the sections called "Facebook Activity".

What you've liked may also appear to other LOVEFiLM members if they have not logged in to Facebook in the "Facebook Activity" section on the homepage.
