Harry Potter actor to branch outThe 15 year-old will star in a film called December Boys, a story of four young orphans who vie for the attention of a couple who are seeking to adopt in 1960s Australia. December Boys will be directed by Australian Rod Hardy, an experienced TV director whose only dabble in the film world resulted in the unsuccessful Robinson Crusoe with Pierce Brosnan Radcliffe shot to fame when he was selected to play the role of Harry Potter back in 2001's Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone. He has since appeared in two more Harry Potter movies, The Chamber Of Secrets and The Prisoner Of Azkaban. The fourth instalment, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is due out this year, and will also star Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith.
