Cruise and Diaz to reteam in new comedy?

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are set to reteam for a new romantic comedy.

The couple, who played lovers in Vanilla Sky almost a decade ago, have stepped in to replace Eva Mendes and Chris Tucker in the untitled film project, according to Daily Variety.

Suggested titles include Trouble Man and Wichita, according to the publication.

The movie's plot revolves around an unlucky-in-love woman who falls for a man on a blind date.

Walk The Line moviemaker James Mangold has signed on to direct.
