Garner embarks on first Save the Children outing

Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner turned storyteller on Tuesday (05May09), reading to kids in Washington, D.C. in her first official act as an ambassador for Save the Children.

The Elektra star, who was recently appointed to the charity role, sat down with a group of school children at the Rosemount Center to read Is Your Mama a Llama?

Garner was in the city to lobby the U.S. government for an extra £1.3 billion in funding for early childhood education, reports People.com.
