Witherspoon injured in movie training

A representative for Reese Witherspoon has explained how the actress came to be sporting a black eye - she was injured while training for her new movie.

The Legally Blonde star sent Internet gossips into a spin on Wednesday (08Jul09) after she was pictured nursing a large bruise underneath her left eye.

A spokesperson for the 33-year-old actress has revealed the star picked up the injury during a game of softball, in preparation for her upcoming untitled baseball film, according to TMZ.com.
