Wallace & Gromit make Oscar longlistThe film represents the first time that Aardman Animations has made Wallace and Gromit into a feature-length film, after winning short animation Oscars twice before with the popular characters. In total, ten films have made the longlist, which will be shortened to the final nominations on January 31st, with the actual Oscar ceremony taking place on March 5th. Valiant, another British animation featuring the voices of Ricky Gervais, Ewan McGregor and Hugh Laurie made the grade, as did Chicken Little, Robots and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, with Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Emily Watson.
