Diaz & Myers banned from Twitter

Movie bosses have banned a series of stars including Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers from joining microblogging site Twitter.com - in a bid to prevent secret information leaking out.

Filmmakers are becoming increasingly worried about actors ruining plots and damaging the industry by putting up messages on the public website.

Executives at Dreamworks have forbidden actors from giving out information on the internet by inserting clauses into their contracts - with Diaz and Myers, who are lined up to make a follow up to smash animation Shrek next year (10), the first affected by the move.
