Kidman to address congress
Nicole Kidman is to speak out about violence towards Women by raising the issue in an address to the U.S. Congress. The Australian actress will join a high-powered delegation at a congressional hearing in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (21Oct09). The event will be held by the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organisations, Human Rights and Oversight to discuss the controversial topic.
