Bullock and Reeves pair up for premiere

Two of Hollywood's hottest properties were in London's West End last night for the premiere of their new film.

Matrix star Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock were in the capital promoting The Lake House for the European premiere of the mystery drama.

The film tells the story of a couple who exchange love letters with one another, even though they live in different years, thanks to a magic mailbox.

It is the first time that the pair have appeared in the same film since the successful Speed, some 12 years ago now.

The Lake House, directed by Argentinian Alejandro Agresti, opens in UK cinemas on June 23rd.

Reeves has also been linked with the part of Johnny Stompanato, the mobster and wannabe actor, in the biopic Stompanato.

Reports suggest that Fatal Attraction director Adrian Lyne could helm the project, while Catherine Zeta-Jones could take on the role of Lana Turner.
