Samuel L follows snakes with The Cleaner

Following his starring role in high-octane blockbuster Snakes On A Plane, it has been reported that Samuel L Jackson will next feature in a thriller called The Cleaner.

According to Production Weekly, he'll play a janitor called Tom whose obsessive cleanliness is put to good use in his job cleaning crime scenes.

But when he uncovers certain secrets, Tom is drawn into a web of intrigue and deception connected to his own history.

The role, which is due to be filmed in Louisiana after Christmas, is another in a varied roster for Jackson, who uttered the legendary line "this is a tasty burger" as Jules in 1994's Pulp Fiction.

He also starred as Jedi High Council member Mace Windu in all three Star Wars prequels, where he wielded a unique purple lightsaber.

Recently, Jackson provided the voice for Frozone in animated comedy The Incredibles and featured in Coach Carter and xXx: State of The Union.

The Cleaner has been written by Matthew Aldrich although no director is attached to the project as yet.
