New Spider-Man 3 trailer released

For those who are eagerly anticipating the May 2007 release of Spider-Man 3, a new online trailer could be of interest.

The third instalment of the series - which sees Peter Parker's alter-ego don a slick black spidey suit - will again feature Tobey Maguire in the lead role, with Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane and James Franco as Harry Osborn.

However, fans of the web-slinging superhero might be excited to see Thomas Haden Church as baddie Flint Marko, or the Sandman as he is also known after an accident gives him superpowers.

In addition, the movie features Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy, Peter and Mary Jane's friend. The actress, who is the daughter of Apollo 13 and Cinderella Man director Ron Howard, was last seen in M. Night Shyamalan's film Lady in the Water.

Prior to Lady in the Water, she starred as blind girl Ivy Walker in suspenseful movie The Village and also Manderlay, which was written and directed by Lars Von Trier.
