Up-and-coming DVD releases

As the dark and wintry nights close in, it's a good time to curl up with one of a host of new DVD releases.

Summer blockbusters such as Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift and Superman Returns have recently hit the small screen in addition to animated comedy, Cars.

And from the makers of cult hit Napoleon Dynamite comes Nacho Libre, featuring Jack Black as an ambitious Mexican wrestler, while Miami Vice remakes the classic 1980s series with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx playing undercover cops Crockett and Tubbs.

More light-hearted fare such as My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Click are also nearing release, in addition to a feature-length festive edition of Family Guy, entitled Happy Freakin' Christmas.

Alternatively, TV series boxsets such as Little Britain: Series Three, the BBC's Planet Earth documentaries and Clarkson: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly are also available.
