First pics of Pirates 3

Lovers of The Pirates of the Caribbean series may be interested to hear that pictures of rocker Keith Richards as Captain Jack Sparrow's dad have been posted online.

At comingsoon.net, fans can see Richards with on-screen son Johnny Depp in his eye-lined, bearded, swashbuckling glory.

The pictures were taken on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, which will be the third instalment in the franchise and features all of the main characters from the first two movies, including Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.

The Office star Mackenzie Crook is also expected to return as glass-eyed pirate Ragetti, in addition to Jonathan Pryce as Governor Weatherby Swann.

A new member of the cast is Hong Kong actor Yun-Fat Chow, who will star as Captain Sao Feng.

Although he mainly concentrates on films for the Asian market, he has also starred in a number of Hollywood blockbusters, such as The Replacement Killers and Bulletproof Monk.
