What's in your top ten of 2006?

As 2007 approaches it's a good time to consider what the best - or worst - movies of the year might have been.

With this in mind, the Internet Movie Database has asked its site users to vote in a number of categories as part of its Road to the Oscars campaign.

So far, voters have chosen The Departed as the best movie of 2006, with Children Of Men and Casino Royale making it into the top ten.

The race for funniest movie of the year is currently led by Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, followed by Little Miss Sunshine and Clerks II.

Saw III has so far scored 32 per cent of votes as the scariest movie, beating The Descent and Silent Hill into second and third places.

And the award for the most entertaining film of the year looks like it will be given to Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, which leads the way with 31 per cent.
