Trailer for 28 Weeks Later now online

Like the characters themselves, the zombie genre just keeps on returning - yesterday came the announcement of a new film entitled Army Of The Dead, while today brings a brand-new trailer for upcoming blood-soaked thriller 28 Weeks Later.

Its predecessor, 28 Days Later, was a fresh take on the zombie theme, with the unfortunately-infected humans in Danny Boyle's movie not only having an appetite for their fellow people but also being infused with violent rage as well.

Fans of the movie may therefore want to check out a new trailer for the follow-up film, which sees a group of Americans arrive in a deserted Britain to try and sort out the mess - which, of course, goes horribly wrong.

The cast of 28 Weeks Later, which is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on May 11th, includes Lost star Harold Perrineau and Rose Byrne, while also featuring Robert Carlyle.

Although the film is not directed by Danny Boyle this time, fans can watch his latest movie, Sunshine, when it is released in the UK next week.
