Wallace and Gromit return with SonyThe deal could please fans of the clay-mation movies, as Aardman recently parted ways with previous associate DreamWorks, possibly reducing the chances of a new project about the hapless inventor and his canine sidekick. Sony Pictures has ensured it gets first pick of Aardman's projects until 2010 - and, according to Empire, one of them is set to be a Wallace And Gromit film. Movies starring the duo often feature well-known British actors alongside Hollywood stars, such as Mel Gibson's turn as plucky rooster Rocky in Chicken Run. The most recent film from Aardman - Flushed Away - was computer-animated instead of using clay models and featured the vocal talents of actors such as Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet.
