Ocean's Thirteen tops US box office

4 stars out of 5.0
Casino heist comedy Ocean's Thirteen has proved to be third-time lucky for the cast as it hit the top of the US box office this week.

The film, which follows Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve, sees a gang of high-rolling criminals attempt to get revenge on a rival after he double crosses one of their most trusted friends.

Staring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, Ocean's Thirteen sees most of the original cast reunite with the added bonus of movie legend Al Pacino in the role of casino boss Willie Bank.

Debuting at number one, the film pushed Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End into second place and another new entry, animated comedy Surf's Up, into fourth place.

The only other film making its first appearance on the chart this week was bloodsoaked sequel Hostel: Part II, which entered at number six.
