Stars turn out for Die Hard premiere

AnOther summer sequel saw stars turn out for a glittering premiere last night in London, as Die Hard 4.0 - also known as Live Free or Die Hard - made its debut.

The movie, which once again sees Bruce Willis as maverick crimefighter John McClane, also features Mission: Impossible III star Maggie Q and follows the race to stop an online terrorist organisation trying to shut down the US.

Other famous faces gracing the red carpet included Kate Beckinsale - the star of Underworld and Click - whose husband directed the film.

Meanwhile, Willis gave reporters a number of amusing titbits about his experience making Die Hard 4.0.

"There was one point when someone suggested doing a Die Hard prequel, 'John McClane: The Early Years'," he told the Daily Mail.

"But I think I've missed that window now - unless they come up with some new technology that smoothes out these wrinkles on my face."

Die Hard 4.0 is set to be released on July 4th.
