Tarantino's Death Proof trailer online

Quentin Tarantino fans might want to head to Empire Online's website and check out a new trailer for Death Proof, the Pulp Fiction director's latest film.

Fans may know that Death Proof was released in the US as part of a double bill called Grindhouse, together with Planet Terror, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez.

Both films were meant to echo the b-movie trends of the 1960s and 70s, when double features were often shown at drive-in cinemas and contained violence, sex and bizarre storylines.

However, Grindhouse was considered as a box office failure in the US and will now be released separately in the UK - beginning with Death Proof later this month.

It stars Kurt Russell as the deranged Stuntman Mike, who lures women into his car, assuring them the vehicle is "death proof". Russell features opposite Rosario Dawson, who recently starred in Sin City and Clerks II.
