The Bourne Ultimatum stays at no.1

3 stars out of 5.0
Action sequel The Bourne Ultimatum has stayed at the top of the UK box office chart again this week, suggesting that audiences love Matt Damon as the amnesia-stricken spy Jason Bourne.

According to data from AC Nielsen, Knocked Up was the second most popular movie of the week, taking over £1.42 million for the weekend starting August 31st.

New entry 1408 took third place. The film stars John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson, and is a horror adapted from a novel by Stephen King about a hotel room where guests never seem to leave.

Meanwhile, long-runners The Simpsons Movie, Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix and Transformers are still in the top ten at places four, seven and eight respectively, although two new entries join Bratz and Rush Hour 3 to round off the chart.

No Reservations, featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones as a celebrity chef, debuted at number six, while Kevin Bacon thriller Death Sentence entered at number ten.
