Madonna film to debut at Berlin Film FestivalEntitled Filth and Wisdom, it will accompany films by renowned names in the industry such as Javier Gutierrez and Brad Anderson, with others set to be added to February's programme. The 48-minute film focuses on a philosophical character played by Eugene Hutz the lead singer of real-life gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello. It has been described as a comedy drama with elements of music and romance. Starring opposite Hutz is well-known English actor Richard E Grant, in addition to Stephen Graham, who has previously featured in Goal!, Gangs Of New York, Snatch and Band Of Brothers. Fans of Madonna might be hoping that Filth and Wisdom proves a more successful challenge to the singer than her other attempts at acting. Her roles in films such as Swept Away and Die Another Day may not show her best talents but are definitely still worth a watch. Titles related to this articleRelated/similar articles
