The data from Nielsen saw comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins debut at number two, while the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour occupied third place and has now taken more than $53 million in ticket sales.

Jessica Alba horror The Eye preceded Juno, with 27 Dresses following both in sixth place.

The rest of the chart consisted The Bucket List, Rambo, Meet The Spartans and There Will Be Blood, which is currently on track to win a mantelpiece's worth of awards.

Its star Daniel Day-Lewis recently took home the Bafta and Golden Globe for best actor, in addition to being presented with the Screen Actors' Guild award for outstanding performance by a male actor.
