Rambo storms Leicester SquareThe BBC reports that the new film, which sees haunted Vietnam vet John Rambo maraud into action for the first time in 20 years, is the goriest instalment of the franchise yet. It follows 1982's First Blood, First Blood Part II and 1988's Rambo III. Set in Burma, the new film follows Stallone's character as he attempts to rescue a group of aid workers who have been captured by, well, bad guys. The 61-year-old Stallone told the corporation that he had received death threats over his portrayal of Burma's military regime. He added that the latest Rambo was "the greatest action film, mainly because it's a real story". Stallone said he did all but one of the movie's stunts himself and felt like a 20-year-old - "but with arthritis". Rambo's return follows the film revival of another Stallone signature character, Rocky Balboa, who climbed into the ring one last time in 2006. Titles related to this articleRelated/similar articles
