Spaced cadets confirm third movie

5 stars out of 5.0
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, the duo behind sit-com Spaced and hit Brit flicks Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz, have reportedly confirmed plans for their third big-screen outing.

According to the BBC the pair will write the new comedy, which is provisionally titled tentatively titled The World's End.

It is part of a two-movie deal Wright has penned with legendary production company Working Title, which produced both Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz. The firm was also behind hits such as The Big Lebowski, High Fidelity and the Oscar-winning Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Last year, Pegg told the Guardian newspaper that the new film will complete a "blood and ice-cream trilogy" by featuring a new flavour of Cornetto.

His co-star Nick Frost was seen munching a strawberry cone between dispatching zombies in Shaun Of The Dead, before battling the dreaded brain freeze after scoffing an original variety in Hot Fuzz.
