Goodfella Ray to Observe And ReportThe Hollywood Reporter says Liotta - who shot to fame playing New York hood Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese's 1990 mob masterpiece - will be on the side of law and order this time, playing a police detective who squares off with Rogen's jumped-up security guard. The pair will do battle after Rogen, a deluded, self-important mall guard, starts a turf war with Liotta's band of local cops. Joining them in the movie are Anna Faris of The Scary Movie franchise, Jesse Plemons of Varsity Blues and Michael Pena, whose credits include Babel, Crash and Lions For Lambs. Collette Wolfe (Semi-Pro) and Antonia DeNardo (A Little Party) are also signed up for the project. The film will be directed by its writer, Jody Hill. Production is expected to start this week, the newspaper adds. In related news, Rogen has recently finished work on animated film Kung Fu Panda and slacker comedy Pineapple Express. Is he also lending his voice to another animated movie, Monsters Vs. Aliens and has just wrapped on Clerks director Kevin Smith's intriguingly-titled Zack And Miri Make a Porno.
