Vinnie Jones steps into latex for X-men role

Vinnie Jones, the star of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels has been named as the latest actor to feature in the third X-men movie.

Jones will join Catwoman star Halle Berry, Sir Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman in the forthcoming film as he plays a 7ft villain called Juggernaut.

The ex-footballer will have to don a latex suit for the role in order to put on some of the 65 stone needed for his ill-famed character.

But, according to an insider, Vinnie is looking forward to stepping into the role.

"Vinnie thinks it's a great laugh and can't wait to get into the suit."

The third X-men film will be overseen by movie director Matthew Vaughan and is due for release next summer.
