Highmore to star in Superhero movie

Child star Freddie Highmore has signed up to star in a new superhero movie with a twist.

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor, 16, will play a teenager who uses a fictional comic book hero to help him escape his battle with leukaemia.

Death of a Superhero, based on Anthony McCarten's best-selling novel, is due to begin shooting in New Zealand later this year (09).
