Shue to front Piranha remake?

Leaving Las Vegas star Elisabeth Shue is set to sink her teeth into the remake of cult 1978 movie Piranha.

The actress is concluding a deal which will see her as the female lead in the new 3-D film, to be directed by Alex Aja.

According to MovieHole.net, Shue will play Sheriff Julie Forester in the film.

The original film starred Bradford Dillman, Heather Menzies and Kevin McCarthy.
