Parker's Sex character is not recession proof
Sarah Jessica Parker's high-flying Sex & The City character has been forced to cut back on her jet-setting party lifestyle - because the actress fears fans won't like her if she ignores the world's economical downturn. The actress will revive her fashion-loving New York columnist Carrie Bradshaw when cameras role on a sequel to 2008's Sex & The City: The Movie later this year (09) and she insists the character will be more frugal. Parker says, "Our country has changed significantly in a year. She will have been affected and she's not an idiot. She's gonna have to change her thinking about indulgence."
