Singleton back with Four Brothers

Director John Singleton, who burst onto the film scene 15 years ago with Laurence Fishburne, Cuba Gooding Jr and Ice Cube in Boyz N The Hood, is back with his new film.

Four Brothers opens in the UK on September 30th and signals a return to form from the director of 2 Fast 2 Furious and Shaft.

He has assembled a strong leading cast, none more so than Mark Wahlberg, the star of Boogie Nights, Three Kings, Planet Of The Apes and The Italian Job.

He is joined by Tyrese Gibson, who was in 2 Fast 2 Furious and Flight Of The Phoenix, Andre Benjamin from Be Cool and Revolver, and Troy's Garrett Hedlund.

These four actors play the four Mercer brothers. The film revolves around their return to the streets of Detroit where they grew up, as they unite to avenge the murder of the mother who adopted them.
